It features a composite structure of LED neon, LED vision, and painting. The LED vision imagery changes in response to the flickering of the central three-dimensional LED neon element, illuminating the space with high brightness.
Crossing Sign
This installation is inspired by neon lights. Street signs updated with LEDs have been removed from their former purpose of inciting desire and flaming gambling instincts, becoming simple devices that merely flash brightly. The flickering light, visible in any environment, attracts people and creates a sense of excitement even without any functional purpose. In this city built around a central intersection, these serve as markers that traverse its divisions—the separation of main roads, the boundary between city and art, the transition between daily life and festivals, and invisible social strata.

もう一つの作品『現在地』と合わせて、都市空間おける「移動」がテーマになっている。
横断のための目印
ネオンをモチーフにしたインスタレーションです。LEDにアップデートされた街頭のサインは、欲求を刺激して射幸心を煽っていた従前の用途から切り離されると、描線が眩しく明滅するだけの装置となります。どんな環境下でも視認できる明るい光の瞬きは、機能を持たずとも人を惹きつけ、高揚感を生み出します。それはこの交差点を中心とした街において、幹線道路の分断／街と芸術の境界／日常と祭りの節目／見えない階層などを横断していくための目印になるかもしれません。
